Regarded as the “Best Aerobic Instructor in New York City” by New York Magazine, Patricia Moreno has established quite a reputation in the world of fitness. She has an extensive background in dance and aerobics, as she has been a presence in the industry for over fifteen years. Moreno has appeared as host of the FX Network’s Breakfast Time Warm-up, fitness consultant on Fox’s Fox After Breakfast, and choreographer and headliner for MTV’s popular The Grind workout video. Patricia’s impressive experience as a dancer also includes choreographing and dancing in Bette Midler’s 1998 production, Make-Over Ball, and performing in the promotional video for the Broadway production of Footloose. Currently a premier instructor at Reebok Sports Club and Equinox Fitness Club in New York City, Patricia now focuses her attention on inventing and teaching innovative workout programs in the studio. Known to make her students “look as good as she does,” she is the creator of two unprecedented workouts, CARDIO MOVES and ENERGIA, and co-creator of POWERSTRIKE, IMPACT, and ZEN WARRIOR. Patricia teamed up with Ilaria Montagnani, martial arts expert, in 1995 to create these classes and to found I.P. Powerstrike, Inc. The two developed a fitness company that is dedicated to bringing their unique workouts into fitness facilities around the world by training and certifying other instructors. An inventor with cutting-edge ideas, an instructor with a gift for motivating, and a skilled choreographer whose talent is inspirational, Patricia Moreno is one to watch.
