Michael DeToia has a master degree in physical education from the Cologne Sports University, is a sports-therapist and CEO of DEHAG which is located in Frechen close to Cologne. The DEHAG team has specialised in Aquatraining, Aerobic, Fitness and more, offering a wide range of products and teaching programs.
DEHAG ACADEMY was the first organisation to bring Aqua Fitness to Germany and has started certification programs for Aqua Fitness Instructors. Michael has toured many countries in Europe and Egypt certifying hundreds of students. Michael’s training seminars are best characterised by his wide range of professional know-how, intensive and co-operative teaching atmosphere and strong individual learning effects for every student.
The DEHAG ACADEMY certification program starts with a basic training diploma (level C), followed by the next level B. There are also specialisation’s with pre- and post-pregnancy, babies and bambini’s and personal trainer. There are two more tracks in the areas of rehab/therapy and wellness/water programs. For new motivation, meeting colleagues and collecting new ideas DEHAG ACADEMY also offers Aqua Fitness and Rehab Marathons and Conventions.
